Automated Reference Checks in Recruit

Recruit now includes Automated Reference Checks, a dedicated workflow step powered by Spark Hire Meet. Teams can trigger, track, and review reference checks directly in Recruit, reducing manual coordination and capturing structured feedback as part of the hiring process.
How it works
Add an Automated Reference Check step to your position workflow.
Select a reference survey to choose the questions that the references will answer. You can customize these questions in Meet.
When a candidate reaches the step, they enter their reference details, and each reference is automatically emailed a request to provide feedback.
Responses and status updates are available on the candidate’s Evaluation in Recruit.
